Sharad is leading the international tax advisory team of the Firm and is actively involved in advising on non-resident taxation, cross border transaction structuring, structuring of inbound and outbound investments, transfer pricing, tax planning and compliance, exchange control laws and compliance, prevention of money laundering laws, and corporate laws. He has represented clients in negotiating joint ventures and other commercial deals including financial and technical collaborations, business combinations. He is also actively involved in representation before revenue authorities, exchange control authorities and enforcement authorities, in variety of matters.
Sharad has experience in advising clients in diverse business sectors.
Sharad is member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He began his professional career in 1999 and has post qualification experience of over 22 years.
He has contributed many technical papers and delivered speeches on the subject of international taxation, transfer pricing and cross border investments and business joint ventures at various forums. He co-authored Indian branch report on 'Group Taxation' for IFA Austria Conference and was invited to be a panel speaker.
