Throughout his distinguished career, he has led and executed statutory and internal audits across a wide range of industries including real estate development, non-banking financial services, banking, manufacturing (particularly iron & steel and cement), power generation, and trading enterprises.
His expertise also spans conducting financial and regulatory due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, providing deep insights that facilitate strategic decision-making. Mr. Rungta is known not only for his technical proficiency but also for his commitment to knowledge sharing — having actively conducted training programs on key regulatory updates and amendments introduced by various authorities from time to time.
He served as a Partner - Audit & Assurance at Shankar & Kapani, Chartered Accountants for more than 16 years, where he led numerous audit and advisory engagements across diverse industries. Prior to that, he was a Senior Associate at Lodha & Co. LLP, Chartered Accountants for over 20 years, gaining deep expertise in statutory audits, due diligence, and regulatory compliance.
